KBW Baxine

DOB: 09/10/08    Reg#: FF8383
PX Baxter x EZ Lady Jane 4L

We bought three embryos from Winner Maker Farms at the 2007 American Royal sale in Kansas City. Three pregnancies resulted - all heifers. We've made the painful decision to part with one of these rare heifers. Baxter sired the 2007 National Champion Fullblood female, PX 08R, who brought $26,000 at the same year's National Lowline Sale. EZ Lady Jane 4L is a high GeneStar dam whose prodigy have also been "in the purple". Baxine herself is an attractive, balanced package with lots of length. She is bred to KBW Poke, the 2009 American Royal Fullblood Senior Bull Calf Champion. Ultrasound shows that her September calf will be a HEIFER! Can't miss.

KBW Penelope
DOB: 03/24/09    Reg#: FF9465
EZ Lisbon 29L X ALM Grace 123H

Lisbon daughters have excelled both in the show ring and across the auction block.  Penelope has never been grained and looks great in her "working" clothes.  Deep body with plenty of length.  Super pedigree on the bottom side as well, ALM Grace 123H, a 1998 model out of the great Geraldine cow family.  "Gracie" is twelve and does everything right: easy breeder, great milker with obvious longevity.  This heifer has a bright future.

  KBW Scarlet
DOB: 03/26/09    Reg#: FF9466
EZ Lisbon29L x ALM Grace 123H

A full flush sister to KBW Penelope.  All the quality, packed on a bit more petite frame.  Pretty head on a classy front end.  Don't forget: she's out of a superior donor cow.  That makes her more likely to do the same.

  KBW Ariel
DOB: 03/23/09    Reg#: FF9464
BCC Doc Holliday 04P x Double J's Miss 28T

We've become big fans of Zeffirelli and Doc Holliday. So, it was bound to happen - using Doc Holliday semen on a Zeff daughter flush. Again, purple ribbons in the super beefy pedigree - top and bottom. Plenty of muscling and bone, yet still feminine.

  KBW Ellie
DOB: 03/02/09    Reg#: FF9461
BCC Doc Holliday 04P x Double J's Miss 28T

Full flush sister to Ariel. Very similar to her sister in kind. Our animals are expected to do great with very little help. Ellie has done a good job keeping condition during a tough winter. These girls will be knocking it out of the park when the green grass returns. 100% probability.

  KBW Winston
DOB: 03/29/09    Reg#: FM9469
BCC Doc Holliday 04P x Double J's Miss 28T

BCC Doc Holliday 04P/Double J's Miss 28T. We really struggled with the idea of parting with this one. This young bull combines the beef power houses of Holliday and Zeffirelli. We're not aware of another bull bred this way. Doc Holliday sports an MMI Tru-Marbling score of MGV +25.34 which lands him in the top 1% of the 19,000+ head tested. 28T is a Zeffirelli daughter. Of course, Zeffirelli sired the only two-time National Champion Fullblood bull, Double J's The Brick 281. On the dam's bottom side - Eliza Park Brenton shows up. In terms of pedigree, what's not to like? On his own, Winston is long and muscular with a slick front and powerful rear end. Super temperment, to boot. His stock will do nothing but go up.
We'll be retaining a 25% semen interest in this fine bull.

  KBW Rampage
DOB: 09/08/08    Reg#: FM8691
DCB Hank x Aspen's Melody

Rampage's name turned out to be a real misnomer. He might be the friendliest bull we've raised to date. DCB Hank is a less well known bull, but does he ever get it done! In two years' worth of production, grass finished Hank sons graded 83.3% Choice, with 100% Yield Grade 1's & 2's. Not bad. Rampage's dam is a maternal masterpiece with Eliza Park Brenton and Brackengrae Beau Lad in her pedigree. We are retaining Rampage's full brother, KBW Poke, our American Royal Bull Calf champ. Otherwise, Rampage wouldn't be going anywhere. In fact, we have a neighbor(commercial cattleman) that still swears Rampage is the better bull. Rampage is fresh off light duty, covering our champion Simmental heifer for what is sure to be an exciting halfblood Fall calf.

  KBW Xerxes
DOB: 09/01/08    Reg#: FM8386
EZ Lisbon 29L x Aspen's Melody

There's no doubt who's Xerxes' Daddy - he's obviously a well-stamped Lisbon son. The Lisbon calves has found plenty of success. Xerxes shares his dam with Poke and Rampage. Definite maternal power here. Xerxes is long and powerful, but flexible and moves out well in the pasture. Further, Xerxes is a little taller than an average lowline which gives a bit of added confidence when asking him to cover commercials. He took on some light duty in December, cleaning up seven Angus and Simmental surrogate heifers. Ultrasounds confirmed that if it cycled, Xerxes covered it.
